Joe's Blog
It's been a great year so far with a really good result with the big Event at The Bicycle in L.A in March. Played great and had a lot of fun; finished just short of victory behind my good friend Victor Ramdin. I'm really never satisfied unless i win, but at the end of the day all you can do is give it your best, and in our world you need to leave the rest up to lady luck. One of my New Years resolutions this year was to really work on my game as i felt i had been very lax and complacent over the last few years and had started feeling the game slipping away. I think some of it really boils down to pure arrogance, and i think we all suffer from this from time to time; believing that we know way more than we actually do. It's funny how the basic things are the things that keep us going and keep us strong; and poker is no different to anything else. The harder you work the luckier you get. I'm looking forward to playing some great poker over the summer at the World Series and getting some good results. Before then however, i'm off to Madrid on May 5th for the EPT Grand final where I have come close before and hope to make a deep run once again this year. And hopefully seal the deal on the elusive Triple Crown i've been chasing for years.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all my fans who constantly support me and cheer me on. I'll sign off for now, and you guys will hear back from me post Madrid where i'll have some juicy stories for you.
